See Jane Work

Thursday, September 6, 2007

The kids are back at school & it's back to work post-Labor Day. Personally, am trying to be extra focused. A few work- & home-organization accessories inspires me. This site is a great find, combining form & function. Love almost everything on it. Now we'll see if I actually use it. Think the 8-days-a-week is particulary appropriate. Perhaps you can relate:)

Welcome to See Jane Work

Do My Stuff!

Have too much on your plate and not enough time to do it? Here's a potential solution: DoMyStuff.com, an online community where busy people connect with individuals and business in their local area, who "bid to do your chores." From running errands, to taking your car to the shop or washing clothes ... You name the task, they bid on the work. Could be your ticket to outsourcing an out of control "to-do" list. Think of it as eBay for services. If you're looking for work, you can post as well. Someone is offering to be a tennis partner, another person says they'll design your website. I could really get a lot of mileage out of this bulletin board ...

It is amazing how much money can be made from selling images. Photo agencies can charge big bucks. In the world of the Internet, where photos are used all over websites, this can get extremely costly. Here's a resource when resources are limited (are they ever not?). The idea is simple: Royalty Free. You pay $1-3 max for photographs. There are 1,959,716 & counting stock images to chose from .... means low price and great selection.
