Super Tuesday Viewing Parties on Tap

Tuesday, February 5, 2008
As the New York Times reports today ... sure there was a big game over the weekend, but "In Some Circles of Friends, the Big Game is Tuesday." Forget Super Bowl parties, hardcore politicos are whooping it up tonight at Super Tuesday parties .... Some at home, others at their local watering hole. Either way, they'll no doubt be glued to CNN, FOX News or MSNBC for the latest play-by-play, projections and analysis.

A pub in Santa Monica, California is coaxing the Super Tuesday crowd in the door by assigning a brand of beer to each candidate. Sounds like a fun idea, but you have to figure the bar's political banter will become increasingly cloudy with each passing glass of Obama Light , Hillary High LIfe or McCain Lager.

If cocktails are more your thing, you can vote for your favorite "candidate inspired cocktail" over at http://drinksfoodandfun.blogspot.com/. Currently, "Barrack's Hope" has opened up a big lead over "Hillary's Hillblazer" and is way out in front of the "Hucka B-52." To find out what's in each drink, click here.

Even if you're Super Tuesday is a little more low key, chances are you'll be following the results closely. An AOL News poll out today shows that 70% of Americans are passionate about the 2008 presidential race. Log-on to the Political Machine tonight for the very latest on Super Tuesday ... And surf over to the Swamp to keep up with political rumors, scandals and the like.
