The site 50 million people have waited for

Friday, November 16, 2007

The recently launched www.disaboom.com is the brainchild of a Dr J. Glen House who graduated from medial school after a skiing accident left him quadriplegic. The concept is getting rave reviews.

The theme: Live Forward. Can't argue with the slogan for this new site aimed at the 50 million Americans with some form of physical or mental disability. It's an under-served audience: they're growing & they have money. A potentially winning combination for an impressive website as covered by The New York Times.

They're building the largest collection of accessibility reviews on everything from restaurants to hot travel spots. They've also got relevant & timely information on health & wellness issues. The community is growing by the hour ... There are first-hand accounts of dating; suggested books for kids; search engines for job opportunities. You can even increase the font size of the site by clicking on box in top right corner.

A friend in the investment community brought this site to my attention. I hope they make a fortune & a world of difference.
