They offer 5 GB of free space -- the equivalent of 1500 songs & 1200 photos) to save any of your files & they're accessible anywhere. Meaning, you could be 1/2 way across the country & get what you need/ -- including term papers, tax records, etc. -- when you need it. This is why insurance companies advise having up-to-date web-stored photos of your personal property in case of natural disaster. Work backwards from this reasoning & you'll quickly "get" why sites like Xdrive are a no-brainer ....
