I once worked with a really stylish woman (we'll call her Wendy). She now lives in penthouse apartment in Chelsea NYC where art specialists were brought into hang giant pieces in room with the most fabulous pink chair you've ever seen. Full-wall-length art & taking risks with color are foreign concepts to me, but it's striking if you can pull it off. Wendy can. Me? Not so much. But, every time I get the Design Within Reach catalog, I briefly forget this & become mesmerized by the sheer thought of having such talent.
