My Shopping Cart

Friday, July 13, 2007
I'm a shopper. Actually, have scaled back & try to stick to a budget. But, still do my fair share & many of you have asked "WHERE?" With three kids & a penchant for home decor, gardening & jewelry + aspirations of being fashionable yet sporty, I shop just about everywhere. Here's some of what have picked up lately & had good luck with ...

www.RestorationHardware.com

This is part of the Cayman Collection. Looked at it in store & bought on sale. Actually got love seat too, but appears that piece is no longer available unless you get whole sectional. Is slated to arrive next week & be the first piece of furniture in a sun room that's been empty for eight years. Progress ... finally:)

Shelburne Bowl

LOVE this bowl. If you are engaged and invite me to your wedding this is what you can reasonably expect receive. Hope you think is as classic & classy as I do.

www.shop.crocs.com

They're everywhere now, but as good as ever & indisputably practical. First spotted them on a friend. We actually called them "Glens" after him until we knew they were called "Crocs." Almost immediately, they were on all my childrens' feet & ultimately, mine. I'll never quite get HOW they stay on toddler feet, but they seem too & nothing is more precious. Unless you have great legs or are under 20 years old or 120 lbs, wear with pants only;)

I get a ton of use out of this bag. When the canvasy fabric gets dirty, just dry clean it. The chocolate brown color is sharp. This handle looks little longer than mine, but -- overall -- consider this a "must have," especially if you're lugging around newspapers & water bottles.

Worked briefly at Calvin Klein & made a life-long friend in fashion. She tipped me off to this magical product. Have no idea how it works, but have never found anything that de-frizzes hair quite like this. It's the next best thing (& cheaper) than getting Japanese Hair Straightening which reminds me, I need to ask her about that;)

iPod Speakers
I got this & am getting so much more use out of my iPod as a result. Great value if you use the "Do I really use this enough?" metric. Probably makes sense to play to the middle in terms of price point The cheapest sounds cheap & you probably hit diminishing returns with some of the more expensive models. Having said that, if you're willing to splurge (I wanted to see if we actually used it first), the Bose version gets rave reviews.

www.sunramp.com
So far, this is the best quality skateboard ramp have found for my boys & they've come down in price because they're selling more & more of them. While not ideal, contacted company & they said you can keep them outside in the rain. Having done this in our driveway for several months now, can tell you first-hand. they hold up well.

More to come .... Let me know if there's something specific you're in the market for by leaving a comment to this post or writing us directly EMAIL REGINA.
